About Me

Brennan S. Autry, MS, Dip ABST, ASCT-CPT, CCFT

Canine Behavior Practioner

When dog’s experience trauma or sever life stressor, it’s not uncommon for their lives to unravel and to exhibit undesired behaviors. My great passion is brining healing to the dogs and their families. I help my clients, who included children, adults and families, to find healthy solutions and strengthen their relationships so that they can peaceful coexist in harmony and safety.

I know that no single approach is right for every dog and their family, so I have been trained in a range of modalities based on empirical and scientific evidence. I am currentlyworking on my PhD in Comparative Psychology and received my Master of Science Degree in Health Sciences from University of Central Florida. I specialized in canine behavior from Companion Animal Sciences Institute, International School of Canine Psychology & Behaviour and through Duke University in Dog Emotion and Cognition. I attended the University of Tennessee Canine Fitness Trainer program through the School of Veterinary Medicine to become a Certified Canine Fitness Trainer (CCFT) and a FitPAWS Master Trainer. I am an Education Committee Member for the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants, and have been recognized as the only trainer on the Mississippi Gulf Coast to meet the positive no force standards of the Pet Professional Guild.

I currently work with the Animal Behavior College as an Externship Instructor to provide their students with real world experience during their training program.  I work directly with these students to refine their skills utilizing the students dogs, dogs at the Humane Society of South Mississippi and to assist training animals through Maddie On Point, a non-profit to train rescued animal to become Service Animals and Therapy Animals.
